What we do
What Nova MES does
MES is the software layer between machines (PLCs, SCADA) and business systems such as ERP. It knows what is being made and how the machines are running, and records it for tracing and reports.
Take data straight from the machine
Reads PLCs, scale indicators and sensors and saves the data to the database right away, with no retyping. If the network or a connection drops, the data is kept and sent again when it returns.
Production orders and plans
Prepare orders, send them to the machine and follow every batch. With several plants, multi-step plans are set up with permissions for each plant.
Traceability
A ticket code or barcode follows the product along the chain. The delivery ticket carries a QR code; the weighbridge scans it, or you pick the truck by hand, so the weight lands on the right ticket. On a packaging line, barcodes are checked against the product that is running.
Alarms and logs
Faults show on screen; THS also alerts by buzzer and email. Every important action is logged with who did it and when; THS also records the old and new value. The THS log is append-only; if anyone edits or deletes a record, the integrity check finds it.
Reports and ERP
Reports by time, product or machine, exported to Excel, PDF or CSV. Need a link to ERP or accounting software? We build it on request.
